1. By this petition, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent No.1 to lodge an FIR/complaint with respect to the complaints dated 21st August 2023 and 23rd August 2023 filed by the petitioner's father and sister with respect to an incident of Mob Lynching which took place on 18th August 2023, when the petitioner was lynched by the Mob.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, states that pursuant to the said complaints made by the petitioner's father and sister, C.R. No.80 of 2023 has been registered by the police on 21st August 2023 with the Tala Police Station. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further on instructions states that not only Section 153A of the Indian Penal Code but even Section 295A of the Indian Penal Code have been added to the said FIR. He assures that the investigation will be taken to its logical end. Statement accepted.

3. Since the grievance of the petitioner stands redressed, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Accordingly, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw this petition.
