Section 112(1) in The Navy (Pay And Allowances) Regulations, 1966
(1)The leave allowances payable to an officer on leave in India or ex-India shall commence from the date on which he hands over charge of or relinquishes his duties and shall cease when he resumes his duties on return from leave.
