Facts:
1. The appellant was heard on 25/7/2008.
2. The appellant has grievances relating to settlement of his pension dues. In this context, he had sought for information in the form of various queries. The PIO and the appellate authority have replied and asked him to specify the information u/s 2(f) of the Act, which requires that information asked for should be available in any material form. Being not satisfied with the responses, the appellant has pleaded for providing the reasons for delay in settlement of pension dues.
Decision:
3. As pleaded by the appellant, the PIO is directed to indicate the details of action taken in respect of full and final settlement of pension benefits to the appellant. The appellant would also be free to inspect the documents so as to observe the manner in which the respondent has processed his case for payment of dues.
4. Both the parties should mutually decide a convenient date and time for inspection of records within 15 working days from the date of issue of this decision.
