Section 2(23) in The Assam Agricultural University Act, 1968
(23)"Veterinary Science" means a science dealing with Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology of animals other than man and shall include the diagnosis, prophylaxis and treatment of their diseases and their infirmity ; their relationship to men with regard to inter communicable diseases and to the use of their flesh and other products and their scientific breeding, feeding and handling and diary science.
