(3)[ No burial or burning ground, whether public or private, shall be made or formed after the commencement of this Act, except with the sanction in writing of the committee which shall not be granted unless the Medical Officer of Health has certified in writing for the information of the Committee that such burial or burning ground is not prejudicial to public health :Provided that no such burial or burning ground shall be made or formed except with the sanction of the State Government.] [Substituted by Punjab Act No. 3 of 1933.]
