Section 12(4) in Securities and Exchange Board of India (Credit Rating Agencies) Regulations, 1999
(4)The Board may, in order to protect the interests of investors, issue directions with regard to the transfer of records, documents or reports relating to the activities of a credit rating agency, whose application for the grant [of a certificate of permanent registration] [Substituted 'or renewal of a certificate' by Notification No. F.No LAD-NRO/GN/2011-12/10/21232. dated 5.7.2011 (w.e.f. 7.7.1999)] has been rejected.
