Section 6(1)(b) in The Haj Committee Rules, 1963

(b)remains absent from three consecutive meetings of the Committee, except for reasons of temporary illness or any other cause to be approved by the Central Government. shall cease to be a member of the Committee and his officer shall thereupon be declared to be vacant by the Central Government.
