Section 12(1) in First Statutes of the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad
(1)In addition to the persons specified in section 15 of the Act, the senate shall also consist of the following members, namely :-(a)Principal Designers and Senior Designers entrusted with the responsibility of Activity Chairperson;(b)three Heads of Departments, to be nominated by the Director.
