46. Special provision for admission and conferment of degrees.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in this Adhiniyam, the statutes or regulations, every student of the colleges specified in sub-section (1) of Section 45 immediately before the commencement of this Adhiniyam was studying in such colleges or was eligible to be admitted to any examination held or conducted by the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya and shall be permitted to complete his course of study or be admitted to the examination of the Vishwavidyalaya and the Vishwavidyalaya shall make arrangements :(a)for the instruction, teaching, training and holding examination for such student for such period and in such manner as may be determined by the first Vice-Chancellor in accordance with the course of study in the Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya; and(b)for the conferment of the corresponding degree, diploma or other academic distinction of the Vishwavidyalaya upon the qualified student on the result of such examination.
