                                           ORDER

Facts:

1. The appellant  filed  an  RTI  application  on 8­5­2012  seeking information  on   the  removal of additional alterations made on the government accommodation.    
2. The   CPIO   responded   on  24­5­2012,   informing   the   appellant   that   the   additional  alterations made on the allotted houses be removed within 10 days otherwise the allottee  will be evicted from the premises.   The appellant filed an appeal with the first appellate  authority (FAA) on 23­6­2012.  The FAA did not respond. The appellant approached the  Commission on 1­8­2012 in a second appeal.

Hearing:

3. The appellant and the respondent both did not participate in the hearing.
4. From the material available on record, it is apparent that the appellant had, vide his  RTI   application  of  8.5.2012,  sought  information  about   the  action  taken  by  the  CPWD  against the allottees of Blocks 27­29, Pachkuian Road, for not removing the unauthorized  construction/encroachment in the government accommodation in compliance with notice  dated 21.12.2011.  
5. It is also seen that the CPIO responded to the RTI application on 2.6.2012 stating  that a reminder has been issued on 24.5.2012 to remove the jhuggies constructed behind the  said blocks within 10 days and after the stipulated time, these will be removed with the help  of the police.
6. The respondent has acted in conformity with the provisions of the RTI Act.

Decision

7. Intervention of the Commission is not required in the matter.

Appeal is disposed of. Copy of this order be given free of cost to the parties.
