Section 20(1) in The Wild Life (Protection) (Madhya Pradesh) Rules, 1974
(1)An application for reservation of a shooting block shall reach the office of the Chief Wild Life Warden not earlier than ninety days and not later than thirty days before the first day of the month for which reservation of the shooting block is required :Provided that :-(a)in the case of a resident of the district such application may be made 15 days before such date; and(b)a permit or license for a short period not exceeding ten days may be granted as soon as such application is made :Provided further that in the case of a foreign tourist an application for a permit or licence may be made six months before the date from which it is desired to make use of it.
