Section 35(1) in Tamil Nadu Local Bodies (Election of Members to the District Planning Committee) Rules, 1999
(1)The State Election Commission may issue such general or special directions as may, in its opinion, be necessary for the purpose of giving effect to these rules or for holding the election under the Act.
