Section 5 in The Karnataka Veterinary, Animal and Fisheries Sciences University Act, 2004
5. Objects of the University.
- The University shall have the following objects, namely:-(a)to make provision for imparting education in different branches of veterinary, animal and fishery sciences as the University may determine;(b)to further the advancement of learning and prosecution of research in veterinary, animal and fishery sciences and other allied sciences;(c)to undertake extension of such specialized knowledge to the needy people; and(d)such other object as the State Government may, by notification specify from time to time.
