Section 9(1) in Himachal Pradesh University Act, 1970
(1)The Chancellor shall have the right to cause an inspection to be made by such person or persons as he may direct, of the University, or any institution maintained by the University, or of a College, including the buildings, laboratories, record and equipment thereof and also of the examinations, teaching and other work conducted or done by it, or to cause an inquiry to be made in a like manner in respect of any matter connected with the administration and finances of the University, or the institution maintained by it.
