Section 196(a) in The Navy (Pay And Allowances) Regulations, 1966
(a)The provision of accommodation under private arrangements or in a hotel or boarding house should be authorised only for a period not exceeding three months at a time and it should he stipulated in the lease, if any, that the hiring maybe terminated without notice at the end of any calendar month.
