(2)A member of the service shall be liable to be posted anywhere within the State of Assam or outside Assam, or to any other department of the Government, a body corporate in the affairs of which the Government may be substantially interested, or an autonomous district council if so required in the interest of public and in such case the member shall not have any option against such posting or transfer.
