Section 21(2) in The First Statutes of the Footwear Design and Development Institute
(2)Recruitment rules shall be framed for each type of post in the following manner, namely: -(a)for the academic staff in the post of Assistant Professor or above or non-academic staff in any cadre, the maximum of the pay scale for which is the same or higher than that of Assistant Professor, the recruitment rules shall be approved by the Governing Council;(b)for any other case, the recruitment rules shall be approved by the Managing Director.
