Section 55(7)(b) in The Gas Cylinders Rules, 2016

(b)if such an application with accompaniments is received by the Chief Controller or Controller after three months from the date of expiry but not later than one year from the date of expiry, the license or approval may, without prejudice to any other action that may be taken in this behalf, be renewed or revalidated on payment of late fee at the rate of one year license or approval fee for every delay of three months or part thereof:
