PRAYER: Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking
issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the
unauthorized advertisement boards/flex boards/decorated curve shaped
placards causing endanger to traffic and public in Kuzhithurai-Arunkani
Road within the jurisdiction of Kadayal Panchayat, Arumanai Panchayat,
Mulukodu Panchayat, Edaikadu Panchayat, Pakodu Panchayat and
Kuzhithurai Municipal in Vilavankodu Taluka of Kanyakumari District and

to take suitable action against such persons by considering petitioner's
representation dated 01.10.2018.

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble CHIEF JUSTICE] Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
2. The prayer is made to remove the unauthorized advertisement boards/flex boards/decorated curve shaped placards causing danger to the traffic and public in Kuzhithurai-Arunkani Road.
3. The learned counsel for the respondents 9 to 11 submits that the said unauthorized advertisement boards/flex boards/decorated curve shaped placards were removed in the year 2018.

4. The respondents are required to periodically monitor and take precaution that no unauthorized advertisement boards, flex boards and decorated curve shaped placards are installed without due permissions.
5. This Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. No Costs.
