Section 1210(a) in Police Regulations, Bengal , 1943
(a)In the case of transfer of a gazetted officer and an officer of the rank of Inspector a last pay certificate is issued by the Treasury Officer or the Accountant-General, as the ease may be. Whenever an Inspector is transferred from one place to another the Superintendent or the Deputy Inspector-General, Criminal Investigation Department and Intelligence Branch concerned shall send immediate intimation to the Treasury Officer or the Accountant-General, as the case may be. In the case of transfer of a non-gazetted officer of or below the rank of Sergeant or Sub-Inspector and a clerk from one district to another the head of the office shall issue the last pay certificate in Bengal Form No. 2508. This certificate shall be attached to the first pay bill drawn after transfer.
