(2)Each of the Selection Committees for appointment to the posts of Professors, Additional Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, Lecturer and other academic staff shall consist of the following members, namely-I. The Vice-Chancellor-ChairmanII. The Principal Secretary of DTTE or his/her nomineeIII. One nominee of the Chairman, Board of GovernorsIV. Concerned DeanV. Three experts of relevant field not connected with the University to be nominated by the Vice- Chancellor from a panel of not less than seven names approved by the Academic Council and ratified by the Board of Governors for each postVI. A representative of the Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribes of the rank of a Gazette Officer.
