Section 33(1) in The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeths) Act, 1983
(1)The Academic Council of each University shall serve as an advisory body of the University and shall have the right to advise the Vice-Chancellor and the Executive Council on all academic, research and extension education matters.
