Section 12(2) in Mizoram Cooperative Societies Act, 2006
(2)The co-operative shall, inter-alia, have power to a quire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable, enter into contracts on b half of. institute and defend suits and legal proceedings and to do all other thin necessary for the purpose for which it was constituted and shall sue or be sued by its name.
