Section 51(1) in The Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993
(1)The State Government may entrust, to a Janpad Panchayat or Zila Panchayat functions in relation to any matter to which the executive authority of the State Government extends or in respect of functions which have been entrusted lo the State Government by the Central Government and the Janpad Panchayat or Zila Panchayat shall be bound to perform such functions. It shall have necessary powers to perform such functions.
