Section 18(1) in The U.P. Entertainment and Betting Tax Inspectors Service Rules, 1982
(1)For the purpose of recruitment by promotion to posts of Entertainment and Betting Tax Inspector Grade I, there shall be constituted a Selection Committee as follows :(i)Commissioner ;(ii)Joint Secretory/Deputy Secretary to Government in Finance Department, dealing with Entertainment and Betting Tax to be nominated by the Secretary, Finance Department.(iii)Deputy Secretary to Government, Finance Department to be nominated by the Finance Secretary.
