- Age. - A candidate for direct recruitment to the service shall be within the following age limits on the 1st January of the year of advertisement with relaxation in case of candidates belonging to special categories like scheduled castes scheduled tribes and any other categories as laid down by the Government in accordance with the orders of the Government in force for the time being :For Medical and Health Officer (1) minimum 21 years, maximum 36 years for Medical Graduate and 36 years for the post-Graduate Degree or Diploma holder.
