Section 18(1) in The Gujarat Ayurved University Act, 1965
(1)The Senate shall be the supreme governing body of the University and shall have power to review the acts of the Syndicate [and of the Board of Post-Graduate Teaching and Research] [These words inserted by Gujarat No. 30 of 2003, dated 19th September 2003.] and shall exercise all the powers of the University not provided for by this Act, [the Statutes, Ordinances and Regulations] [Substituted for 'the Statutes and Ordinances' by Gujarat No. 30 of 2003, dated 19th September 2003.],
