(8)When the place of a member nominated to the Board becomes vacant by resignation, death, removal or otherwise of such member, the Government shall nominate a new member to fill the vacancy, in accordance with the provisions of sub-rule (2), and such new members shall hold office for the unexpired period of the term of office of the member in whose place he has been nominated.
