Section 24 in The Maharashtra Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayutas Rules, 1974

24. Interpreters.

(1)The Lokayukta or Upa-Lokayukta may in special cases appoint an interpreter or interpreters, who shall be paid remuneration at such rate as may be fixed by the Lokayukta.
(2)The interpreter shall take oath in the following form
I do| swear in the name of Godsolemnly affirm
that I will well and truly interpret and explain all questions put to and evidence given by witnesses and translate correctly and accurately all documents given to me for translation.
