Section 8(1) in The M.P. Upcharika, Prasavika, Sahai Upcharika Prasavika Tatha Swasthya Paridarshak Registrikaran Adhiniyam, 1972
(1)An elected or nominated member may at any time, resign his membership by tendering his registration in writing under his hand to the President, and his scat shall thereupon become vacant.
