Section 64(1) in The Naval Ceremonial, Conditions Of Service And Miscellaneous Regulations, 1964
(1)The President's Colour shall be paraded on shore in India on the following occasions, namely-(a)by a Guard of Honour mounted for the President;(b)by a Guard of Honour mounted for a foreign Sovereign, or the President of a Republican State;(c)on 26th January, the Republic Day;(d)on such important ceremonial occasions as may be ordered by the Chief of the Naval Staff.
