Section 61 in The U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reforms Act, 1950
61. Correction of bona fide mistake.
(1)Except as provided by or under this Act, no correction shall be made in the Compensation Assessment Roll after it has become final.(2)The Compensation Officer having jurisdiction may, at any time before the payment of compensation, either of his own motion or on an application filed by a person interested, correct any clerical or arithmetical mistakes in the Compensation Assessment Roll or any error arising therein from any accidental slip or omission.
