Section 1 in The Code of Criminal Procedure (Assam) (Amendment) Act, 1980
1. Short title, extent and commencement.
(1)This Act may be called the Code of Criminal Procedure (Assam) (Amendment) Act, 1980.(2)It extends to the whole of the State of Assam.(3)It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 5th day of June, 1980.
