Section 12(1) in Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur Act, 2008
(1)The Chancellor shall be appointed by the Sponsoring Body with the consent of the State Government for a period of five years from the date on which he enters upon his office and shall not be eligible for re-appointment:Provided that a Chancellor shall notwithstanding the expiration of his term continue to hold office until his successor enters upon the office.
