44. Qualifications of candidates for election.
- Any workman of not less than 19 years of age and with a service of not less than one year in the establishment may, if nominated as provided in these rules, be a candidate for election as a representative of the workmen on the Committee: Provided that the service qualification shall not apply to the first election in an [Explanation .-A workman who has put in a continuous service of not less than one year in two or more establishments belonging to the same employer shall be deemed to have satisfied the service qualification prescribed under this rule.] [ Added by G.S.R. 1078, dated 4.8.1962.]
