Section 2(s) in The Life Insurance Corporation of India (Employees) Pension Rules, 1995
(s)"retirement" means,-(i)retirement in accordance with the provisions contained in sub-regulation (1) or sub-regulation (2) or sub-regulation (3) of regulation 19 of the Life Insurance Corporation of India (Staff) Regulations, 1960 and rule 14 of the Life Insurance Corporation of India Class III and Class IV Employees (Revision of Terms and Conditions of Service) Rules, 1985 made under the Act;(ii)voluntary retirement in accordance with the provisions contained in rule 31 of these rules;
