Section 17(1) in The Delhi Police (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1980
(1)[On receipt of the finding from the enquiry officer, the disciplinary authority shall pass an order imposing any penalty on the Police officer as specified in rule 5 of the Delhi Police (Punishment and Appeal) Rules, 1980. The order passed by the disciplinary authority shall be communicated to the accused officer. He shall also be supplied with a copy of the finding of the enquiry officer free of cost with direction to file an appeal .within 30 days from the date of receipt of order, if he so desired.] [Substituted by Notification No. F 5/81/85 Home (P) Estt. dated 4-9-1986.]
