The petitioner was working as a Drawing Teacher in Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Paramathi, Namakkal District.
2.She was transferred by an order dated 18.08.2011 to the Government Higher Secondary School in Aniyapuram, Namakkal District. The petitioner filed W.P.No.22916 of 2011 questioning the aforesaid transfer. This Court, while admitting the writ petition, granted stay of the transfer order. Further, this Court passed an order dated 28.09.2011 in M.P.No.2 of 2011 in W.P.No.22916 of 2011 directing the respondent to pay salary to the petitioner.
3.The petitioner was not permitted to work at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Paramathy, Namakkal District, though stay was granted. The writ petition in W.P.No.22916 of 2011 is still pending. The stay granted by this Court as well as the interim direction has not been questioned. In the meantime, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition in W.P.No.8984 of 2013 seeking direction to the respondent to grant permission to the petitioner to join duty as Drawing Teacher at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Paramathi forthwith by considering her request letter dated 10.10.2011.
4.In these circumstances, the petitioner was permitted to join as Drawing Teacher at Government Higher Secondary School, Aniyapuram on 08.07.2014 as she expressed her willingness to join at the transferred place.
5.In view of the aforesaid development, I am of the view that nothing survives in this writ petition. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
