Section 2(ii) in Tamil Nadu Panchayats (Issue and Disposal of Audit Report of Village Panchayats) Rules, 2000
(ii)"Auditor" means the Deputy Block Development Officer of the panchayat union, in which jurisdiction the village panchayat lies, appointed by the Government under sub-section (1) of section 193 of the Act.
