Section 12(8)(a) in Dr. Abdul Haq Urdu University Act, 2016

(a)When the Vice-Chancellor consider immediate action desirable with regard to any matter in which any officer or authority may take action, he may, subject to the general control of the Chancellor, take such action as may be necessary, but shall, as soon as may be, report the action taken to the officer or authority concerned; and
