(5)Notwithstanding anything contained in the foregoing provisions of this section, the State Government may, at any time in the case of any officer appointed under sub-section (2) as the Chief Executive Officer or the Finance Officer, terminate his appointment as such:Provided that if, in the case of any such officer, the Mayor-in-Council so decides, the State Government shall terminate the appointment of such officer.
