Section 37(1) in The Saurashtra University Act, 1965
(1)The Syndicate shall have the power after consultation with the Academic Council, to approve an institution as an "approved institution" for specialised studies, laboratory work, internship, research or other academic work approved by the Academic Council, under the guidance of a single qualified teacher.
