Section 139(2) in The Punjab Motor Vehicles Rules, 1989
(2)The motor vehicles belonging to an Educational Institution :-(i)shall be painted in light blue or sky blue colour with a 254 mm. wide strip of dark blue paint going all around the body 178 mm. below the windows.(ii)the crest of the institutions shall be painted below the dark blue strip in while colour on both sides of the vehicle between the rear and the front wheels; and(iii)the name of the institution shall be written on the front side either above or below the wind screen according to the space available.
