Section 12(1) in U.P. Cinemas (Regulation) Act, 1955
(1)The Cinematograph Act, 1918 in so far as it relates to the matter other than the sanctioning of cinematograph films for exhibition, is hereby repealed in its application to the State of Uttar Pradesh.
