Section 13(1) in The High Court Legal Services Committee Regulations, 1997
(1)On receipt of an application for Legal Aid, Legal Advice or Legal Services the Secretary shall scrutinise the application to satisfy himself that the same is in order as regards eligibility and other requirements of the rules and regulations and wherever warranted the applicant may be required to submit further information as may be necessary.
