Section 4(1) in The Orissa Survey and Settlement Act, 1958
(1)The [Board of Revenue,] [Substituted vide Act No. 7 of 1962.] may, by notification appoint any [* * *] [Omitted vide Act No. 7 of 1962.] officer or person either by name or by virtue of his office to be a Survey Officer for all or any of the purposes of this Act.
