Section 10(5) in The Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University Act, 2005
(5)The Director shall,-(i)exercise general supervision of the management and control the affairs of the University;(ii)ensure implementation of the decisions of the authorities of the University.(iii)be the Chairman of the Academic and Research Council;(iv)be responsible for imparting of instructions and maintenance of discipline in the University; and(v)exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be assigned to him under this Act or the regulations or as may be delegated to him by the Board or the President, as the case may be.
