Section 11(4) in Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations, 2018
(4)Every Access provider shall inform its Subscribers while giving telecom resources that he shall not get involved in the activity of sending Commercial Communication or cause sending Commercial communication, or authorize the sending of the Commercial Communication using the telecom resources failing which the telecom resources used or assigned to him may be put under Usage Cap or his telecom resources may be disconnected;Provided that the Authority may, from time to time, issue such directions as it deems necessary, specifying the content, medium, frequency and manner of such publicity;Chapter-VObligations of Access Providers
