HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANJEEV PRAKASH SHARMA Order 25/11/2019 The medical report was submitted by the SMS Medical College, Jaipur which was directed by this court to conduct medical examination of the petitioner. The Board of the three senior professors of the Ophthalmology Department have conducted eye examination of the petitioner and submitted the report dated 13.11.2019 to this court. The report dated 13.11.2019 is taken on record.
As per the aforesaid report, the eye examination of the petitioner as under:-
"Color Vision :- Candidate has defective color vision on lshihara color plate testing. On lantern test, for color vision he is (Downloaded on 07/06/2021 at 04:27:21 AM) (2 of 2) [CW-1102/2019] unable to identify primary colors (Red, Green) on 13 mm and 1.3mm aperture from 16 feet distance. High grade color perception absent."
The inference has also been submitted by the Board mentioning that on account of defective color vision as above, he would be unfit for the post of Constable (Driver). Accordingly, the submission of the petitioner that he does not have any defective color vision, is found to be without basis.
The writ petition is held to be devoid of merit. The rejection of the petitioner for the post of Constable (Driver) is held to be justified.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. All pending applications stand disposed of.
