डॉ. रघुवंश प्रसाद सिंह (वैशाली):बिहार राज्य के कानू, कुम्हार, कहार, गड़ेरिया, ततवा, ताँती, नाई आदि जातियों को अनुसूचित जाति की सूची में डालने हेतु इन जातियों का महासंघ मांग कर रहा है साथ ही लोहार, नोनियाँ, धानूक, मल्लाह, बींद, बेलदार, केवट, केओंट, गंगौत, गोढ़ आदि जातियों का महासंघ अनुसूचित जनजाति की सूची में शामिल करने हेतु आंदोलन कर रहा है ।
मेरा आग्रह है कि इस संबंध में राज्य सरकार समाज अध्ययन संस्थान, रजिस्ट्रार जनरल ऑफ इंडिया और अनुसूचित जाति जनजाति आयोग से परामर्श कर इन जातियों के महासंघों की मांग की आपूर्ति हेतु सदन से विधेयक स्वीकृत कराया जाय ।
